Apple Crumb Pie
- Pastry for single crust 9" pie
- 6 cups chopped, peeled tart apples
- 2 Tbsp butter, melted
- 2 Tbsp sour cream
- 4 tsp lemon juice
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 Tbsp all purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
Topping Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup cold butter
Instructions:
- Line 9" pie plate with pastry, flute edges.
- In a bowl combine next 8 ingredients. Spoon into pie shell.
- In another bowl, combine flour and sugar, cut in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over filling.
- Bake at 375ยบ for 45-50 minutes or until filling is bubbly and apples are tender.
