Apple Crumb Pie


Ingredients:
  • Pastry for single crust 9" pie
  • 6 cups chopped, peeled tart apples
  • 2 Tbsp butter, melted
  • 2 Tbsp sour cream
  • 4 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 Tbsp all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
Topping Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup cold butter

Instructions:
  • Line 9" pie plate with pastry, flute edges.
  • In a bowl combine next 8 ingredients. Spoon into pie shell.
  • In another bowl, combine flour and sugar, cut in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over filling.
  • Bake at 375ยบ for 45-50 minutes or until filling is bubbly and apples are tender.
